Here’s What Screen Innovations Will Show at ISE 2024
Screen Innovations (SI) will demonstrate its durable FlexGlass rear-projection screen technology and screens at ISE 2024 in Stand 2L500 in Hall 2.
SI says the FlexGlass “transforms” rear-projection screens with its durable yet bendable surface. It is available in large sizes, up to 30,785 millimeters wide by 2,616 millimeters tall, and boasts a low profile of just 2-1/2 millimeters thick. With a screen that can go this large, SI says edge-blending capability is a must. The FlexGlass Perfect Edge-blend feature blends multiple projectors with a “perfectly uniform viewing surface.”
The company says these features make FlexGlass a highly versatile rear-projection screen, supporting applications including digital signage, projection blending, short-throw projection and a traditional rear-projection surface.
Completely bendable, SI says FlexGlass can be configured in several ways, such as an S-Shape against a curved wall and even a 360-degree circle. FlexGlass is designed and engineered with ambient light-rejecting properties and to eliminate hot spotting that can often occur with rear-projection installations. Engineered from the same material as bulletproof glass, SI says FlexGlass is extremely durable for use in any environment.
Furthermore, SI says FlexGlass can be rolled up for delivery to the site due to its flexible composition, minimizing the costs and labor typically incurred when shipping and handling a standard rigid rear projection screen.
In addition, SI will show the Solo 3, an architectural design-oriented outdoor screen solution that “blends into today’s modern home décor styles.” SI says the Solo 3 Outdoor Projection Screen builds on the Zen Outdoor Shade line. It introduces features that allow projection enthusiasts to enjoy their screens even under typical outdoor conditions, including light wind. SI says this is possible with its cable guide and zipper track stabilization systems.
Finally, Screen Innovations will demo the new Zero G, which the company says is designed to give the television experience, but at a much larger scale. Zero-G can be deployed in places where rigid TVs or monitors cannot due to its retractable cables. The cabling can be color-matched with SI’s proprietary “color-matching system,” which unobtrusively blends into any residential or commercial environment and creates the appearance of a screen floating in space. SI says Zero-G can be mated with SI Slate or Pure screen material and is available in screen sizes up to 160 inches diagonally.
