MSolutions to Introduce Quadview Processor at ISE 2024

MSol Quadview Processor Large

RA’ANANA, ISRAEL, January 29, 2023 — MSolutions, a leading supplier of AV test devices and collaboration solutions, will introduce a new quadview video processor at ISE 2024 to help customers scale and display four video sources in a single screen. The new MS-41Q device can accept four HDMI sources and upscale any input resolution to 4K@60 4:4:4 with up to 18Gbps bandwidth, providing exceptional visual quality for monitoring purposes for live production, security and other applications. MSolutions will demonstrate the unit producing quad outputs for UHD, HD and SD signals on Stand 5G820 at ISE next week, which takes place January 30-February 2 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.

The MSolutions MS-41Q provides optimal flexibility for users, supporting six pre-defined screen layouts. An extra eight customized screen layouts can be quickly modified on the fly to support new viewpoints in dynamically changing environments, including university campuses and busy shopping centers. Fast switching between input channels and screen layout modes provide clean and seamless transitions between display sources, which can include cameras, media players, and computers among other HDMI sources. Users can also monitor HDMI audio sources, selectable via the unit’s front panel.

MSolutions simplifies configuration scenarios through its MS-OPS AV over IP management tool, allowing users to create and adjust layouts from a web browser, and translate layouts to the screen over the IP network. MS-41Q display sources can also be controlled via an RS-232 interface, and its 1RU enclosure fits cleanly into any rack system for use in production studios, security offices (hotels, retail environments), and command and control rooms (large campuses, government facilities.)

MSolutions CTO Ariel Marcus emphasizes that while visual integrity and format flexibility are important benefits, its flexibility for the configuration and management of sources will be of most interest to many users. “The ability to present an array of different sources provides the operator will full control of the monitoring environment,” said Marcus. “HDMI sources can be stacked on top of each other or split into the usual 2×2 quad configuration among other configurations, making the processor equally useful for traditional display monitors and larger video walls.”

Separately, MSolutions will demonstrate its MS-IP18G AV over IP devices introduced at ISE 2023. The MS-IP18G family includes HDMI 2.0 transmitting and receiving devices that can pass pure, high-resolution 4K@60 4:4:4 video and audio over 1Gb networks (Fiber & Copper). Both devices are PoE-capable with options to use external power supplies, and support KVM, RS-232 and CEC passthrough along with USB connectivity for peripheral devices. The devices are ideal for routing AV sources over IP within or between collaborative spaces.
