I had NETGEAR’s Alex Pendleton join me on today’s videocast. Alex is one of 22 NETGEAR team members whose job it is to help AV integration firms design systems via AV-over-IP. It’s a free service, literally dubbed NETGEAR’s ProAV Design Service, and all you have to do to take advantage of it is email them at proAVDesign@netgear.com. As Alex tells me, that starts a chain of events that concludes with a system entirely designed using whomever’s AV-over-IP encoders and decoders you prefer and delivered to you as a finished CAD file of your choosing.
