THE rAVe Agency Launches THE rAVe Esports Show with Bubba Gaeddert
THE rAVe Agency announced THE rAVe Esports Show with Bubba Gaeddert, the audiovisual industry’s first and only esports show. The live-streamed show is the first and third Thursday of each month at 12 p.m. Eastern Time, in USA.
THE rAVe Esports Show will feature gamers, tech experts, esports venue designers, esports technologists, futurists and more, covering a myriad of topics across the convergence of audiovisual technology and esports. The twice-monthly series will give viewers a better understanding of esports through useful case studies, insights and trends to leverage for their organizations. Esports installations, one of the fastest-growing market segments, vastly differ from traditional audiovisual installations. THE rAVe Esports Show will provide audiovisual professionals and technologists with an in-depth understanding of scholastic esports, competitive gaming and recreational gaming, and leverage technology to connect and engage an audience in arenas, schools, buildings and facilities.
“I’m energized to team up with THE rAVe Agency for THE rAVe Esports Show,” said Gaeddert. “We have an exciting lineup of topics, guests and special surprises planned for THE rAVe Esports Show. We’ll take a behind-the-scenes look at audio, video, education, emerging technology, metaverse and real-world labs and arenas – All of which are shaping and accelerating esports worldwide. We want to provide our viewers with relevant data, education and topics to equip them with the resources to expand their business and help to build the future of esports as the industry continues to grow and evolve.”
Bubba Gaeddert, host of THE rAVe Esports Show, is a professional broadcaster, host, consultant and content creator. Since 2013, Gaeddert has been an adjunct professor in higher education. Additionally, he’s worked in the non-profit and traditional sports industry for over 20 years with the YMCA, NCAA, NAIA, Parks and Recs, Sports Commissions and the Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, Gaeddert helped to establish a non-profit 501(c)3 charity, the Videogames and Esports Foundation (VEF), and a year later took the reins as the Executive Director.
Today, the VEF provides grants and scholarships to disenfranchised students, educators, game designers, streamers and organizations in the gaming and esports industry. In just four years, the VEF has served more than 20,000 students at 1,000 different high schools and middle schools with over $300,000 in grants to title one and low-income schools. Additionally, the VEF has provided over $500,000 in scholarships to 195 colleges to serve more than 200 students.
“The emergence of esports into the audiovisual industry has presented an ever-growing opportunity for manufacturers, dealers, distributors and audiovisual professionals,” said Gary Kayye. “THE rAVe Esports Show was established to provide informative, relevant information for industry professionals and technologists to bridge the gap between audiovisual technology and esports. Additionally, we want to utilize the platform as a resource to engage future technology professionals by introducing young adults and students to the audiovisual industry.”
THE rAVe Esports Show will provide a necessary platform to raise awareness for the VEF and support the organization’s mission to continue launching esports programs in schools across North America. Additionally, THE rAVe Agency will collaborate with the VEF to introduce young professionals and students to the audiovisual industry – to excite and engage the future generation of audiovisual professionals. THE rAVe Esports Show with Bubba Gaeddert has partnered with the VEF to help support an inclusive, safe, and aspirational network of gaming communities for all.
