Did you know that we recently got back from DSE 2022? Did you also know that DSE shared a convention center with LDI — THE show for live events? Our team was mostly there for DSE, but we did go into LDI and it was amazing. We even got a few product videos from the LDI show floor. I didn’t know what to expect from my very first DSE. What a year for it to have been my first one! As you may have heard or seen us say, this was a growing year for the show after it was dissolved in 2020 — but purchased and rebuilt by Questex.
A recent online discussion hit a familiar theme in AV. How do we attract people to this field? Many of the same questions and suggestions that have been discussed over the years came back up. Do credentials matter? Does credentialing help attract people? Should there be a track in a community college or trade school for AV?
