Happy Wednesday, everyone. You know what that means! Gary and I go live for another episode of rAVe [TV] at 12 p.m. EDT, and I send out another edition of your favorite ProAV newsletter. While we just got back from an extended holiday weekend, the news seems to have calmed a bit since June. But things are still happening, so make sure to check these stories out — from a new 4K video bar from Boom Collaboration to NSCA’s announcement about its executive committee, the news has definitely not stopped for the summer.

+ Flat Panel and Front Projection Markets Stall Amidst Recession Fears [Sean Bradley & Freddie Mossop]

The flat panel and front projection markets continue to battle a string of challenges, as Q1 of 2023 saw substantial declines in volume and value across both markets. The worldwide flat panel market volume saw losses at -8% YoY, with value dipping by -19%. For front projection, market volume fell -10.4% in CY 2023 Q1, with value reporting a similar trend at -9.7%.
