Welcome to our recap of the first day of rePLAY InfoComm 2023!

Day One kicked off with Megan A. Dutta and AVIXA CEO Dave Labuskes discussing their favorite moments of InfoComm 2023. Dave remarked that he always loves the moment when people come “pouring in” on the first day. Megan said she loves seeing how both the technology showcased and InfoComm itself have evolved over the years. They both agreed that this year’s esports experience was an exciting and engaging addition to InfoComm. Dave noted that the experience welcomed a “young and diverse” audience to the AV industry. 

AI Solutions

Next, Steph Beckett joined Megan to showcase videos focused on AI camera and audio solutions from SharpNEC Displays, Korbyt, Insta360 and more. Here are a few AI-focused solutions they featured:

Next, John Marshall, president and CEO of Userful, joined Gary Kayye to break down Userful’s core product, the Userful Infinity Platform. Gary also congratulated Userful on winning rAVe’s “The Future of AV” award.

Megan and Steph were joined by Bryan Meszaros, who is a member of the board of directors for the Digital Signage Federation to discuss DSF’s involvement with InfoComm 2023. DSF worked closely with AVIXA at InfoComm to create D=Sign, a series of educational sessions focused on all things digital signage. Bryan also talked to Megan and Steph about innovative digital signage solutions on the show floor, SoC versus external media players and more
