Rise Vision Wraps Up 3-Part Webinar Series in Collaboration with CrisisGo
Rise Vision, the #1 digital signage software solution for schools, proudly announces the successful completion of its three-part webinar series, “Crisis Management and School Security,” presented in collaboration with CrisisGo.
School districts across North America are facing unprecedented challenges related to safety and immense pressure to be well-versed in all aspects of school safety. According to Campus Safety, despite all the school safety training that focuses on prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery, there is a lack of crisis management training.
Enter Rise Vision and CrisisGo. In a concerted effort to bolster school safety, Rise Vision and CrisisGo, partnered to bring a comprehensive webinar series designed for K-12 superintendents, directors of technology, and school principles focused on crisis management with an end goal to empower schools with the tools they need to navigate emergencies.
Led by Sr. School Safety Specialist, Kelly Moore, in the first installment of the series, “Developing a Comprehensive Emergency Response Plan,” participants gained valuable insights into the significance of emergency response planning in schools. The session covered elements essential for an effective response plan, including risk assessment, communication protocols, evacuation procedures, and recovery strategies.
Part two, titled “Improving Communication During a Crisis,” addressed the critical role of communication in crises. Attendees explored common communication challenges faced by schools and learned strategies for crafting crisis communication plans. From leveraging technology and diverse communication channels to crafting clear, timely messages, this session provided invaluable guidance for handling communication obstacles during critical moments.
The final installment, “Security Measures to Prevent Unauthorized Access to School Grounds,” emphasized the paramount importance of school security. Participants delved into assessing security risks, implementing access control systems, and enhancing physical security measures. The session also covered strategies for personnel training, collaboration with law enforcement, responding to security threats, and implementing best practices.
“We are thrilled to have successfully concluded this three-part webinar series in collaboration with CrisisGo,” said Shea Darlison, Chief Revenue Officer at Rise Vision. “Rise Vision is dedicated to helping schools create safe environments for students. We are proud to work with experts in school safety like CrisisGo and equip school leaders with the knowledge and tools to take proactive steps towards a safer future.”
