If you frequent LinkedIn, you may have seen a conversation last month about a marketing email from Aurora, saying that its VPX product is the “solution for Crestron NVX lead time issues.” In the latest updates to that story, Crestron sent Aurora a cease-and-desist order. + Crestron Responds to Aurora’s Latest Marketing Email [Steph Beckett]

You might remember the conversation that took #AVtweep LinkedIn by storm last month, all stemming from a marketing email from Aurora Multimedia. Crestron responded by issuing a cease-and-desist order. Aurora then sent out a second marketing email. Crestron responded Wednesday morning and EVP Global Marketing Brad Hintze joined the latest episode of rAVe [TV].

What this thread got me thinking today, however, is about how companies are surviving this time period. From all the discussions I have with my peers, it feels like manufacturers are able to provide about 25% of what we would be getting prior to March 2020. Most troubling in my mind though is the catch-22 in which manufacturers find themselves. If a company is struggling to build its product because its supply chain is unstable, when will that ever catch up?
