Let’s see a raise of hands for everyone who thought October was going to be a restful month, and then it … hasn’t been. Anyone? Bueller?
Anyway, as you know from our last newsletter, we’re back from CEDIA Expo! Although some of you might not have gone, Sara Abrons didn’t either, but she was still our head video titler and therefore watched every product video we shot. If you’re interested in seeing what the trends were from the show floor, you’ll definitely be interested in this column — some of the growing trends might surprise you.
Also, in our other column this time, Bob Snyder writes about the new EU power consumption regulations. “Yeah, Steph, that’s great. Why should we care?” Because with these regulations, 8K TVs will not pass. Also, there are a good chunk of microLEDs that won’t pass either. Read more here.
My final piece of wisdom for you is to register for LAVNCH WEEK 6! I cannot stress enough how awesome this week of content will be. We’re talking about the hybrid workplace and when it makes sense to enforce this at your office. We’re talking about the importance of content in the digital signage world. We’re even hosting a panel featuring Aurora Multimedia and Crestron to address the supply chain shortages in our industry. You won’t want to miss out — register here.
Finally, if you’re one of those people affected and wanting to know more about the supply chain, take our survey! We’re using these results as a way to help us move forward and for us to be able to take a temperature as an industry. Thanks for your time!
