A question I get pretty frequently from people I just meet or those outside our industry is, “Why don’t you guys at rAVe all just work from home?” It’s a fair question. And we do have employees who are full-time remote. But unfortunately, that doesn’t work for me. First, I love knowing my co-workers, and I’ve gotten to know them so well by seeing them in person. Also, I don’t always love joining hybrid meetings from the video side. And it’s for all the reasons you already know. I don’t hear the funny asides coming from inside the conference room, I’m not privy to the creative energy when brainstorming and I don’t like missing out on that! Why else might hybrid meetings be falling short? Mark Coxon writes his latest column all about why this is happening and what we can do. Read more here.
