I’ve given up on New Year’s resolutions because they stress me out. I’m a competitive person, so setting a ton of goals for yourself at the beginning of the year feels like I’m just going to make myself mad when I don’t meet every single one. But maybe this year is a lesson on setting more attainable goals and realizing that it’s OK not to meet every single one. What do you think? Are you a New Year’s resolution person? What types of goals (personal and professional) do you set?
For AMX, it seems the resolution may be to open up programming to Python and JavaScript. While Scott Tiner writes that this may make some AV programmers uncomfortable, this will continue to converge AV and IT. Learn more about this and AMX’s new line of controllers here.
Also, don’t miss news like AVer’s cameras receiving certification for Zoom, Logitech’s Sight receiving Microsoft Teams certification (a lot of certification news this time) and more.
Happy New Year!
