Well, would you look at that. It’s the end of the month again. How’d that happen, am I right? Here I am, sitting in my hotel in Indianapolis and getting ready for CEDIA Expo 2021, wondering how we ended up here once more and so quickly.
The good news is that August was a busy month for us, as you can tell by the level of RADIO content I have for you all. If you want to know literally anything — there’s a Rants & rAVes about it this month (half kidding). But in all seriousness, I suggest you check out the CEDIA Expo episodes, because Jason McGraw has a wonderful message for everyone attending (or not attending) the expo this year.
Also, Mark Coxon released a new Selling AV episode, all about whether or not you should use a sales script. I personally think that going off the cuff is so much more genuine, which is why I rarely use scripts for LAVNCH events anymore. I normally have bullet points but that’s all! What do you think? Are scripts dead?
Scott Tiner also released a podcast this month about class capture. It’s become quite the art form in higher ed, and it’s all because of COVID. However, Scott talks about how class capture absolutely is here to stay.
Finally. I have an episode of Study With Steph to help me (and anyone else) really nail down Ohm’s law. If you need a little help with your physics before the CTS exam, or if you just want a refresher, this episode will help you out!
Have a great week, stay cool, see you at CEDIA!
